Vision:
   Rooted in our common stem of faith and the Eucharist, Catholic Campus Ministry strives to grow from strangers into a sincere family that demonstrates the love of God and others. We prepare for a lifetime of learning after college by exploring our faith and expressing it through fellowship and service. We work collaboratively and creatively to share the Gospel and to build the Kingdom of God.
 
Mission:
   We provide educational programs, retreats and prayer services to deepen our faith, social events to celebrate our Christian community and community service projects to serve the needs of others.

The season of Advent is upon us!

A season of preparing the way of the Lord (and preparing for final exams), a season of colder and darker weather (and a season of lighting another advent candle each week) and a season of shopping for just the right gifts for family and friends (and a season in which we remember that Jesus was born homeless with no room at the inn).

Upcoming events:

Monday, December 6th at 7 PM at St. Patrick's Church: Communal Reconciliation Service with five visiting priests.

Wednesday, December 8th: Feast of the Immacualte Conception - a holy day of obligation. Masses at 7:00 AM in Jackson Memorial Hall at VMI, and 12:15 and 5:30 PM at St. Patrick's Church

Saturday, December 11th at 11:00 PM at St. Patrick's Church: the Almost Christmas, Almost Midnight Mass - carols at 10:30, Mass at 11 PM followed by a brief reception. Take a study break, pray for knowledge and wisdom and celebrate our faith.

Sunday, December 12th - final 5 PM Mass of the semester (and year).
